THANK YOU for all the continued kindness and suppo THANK YOU for all the continued kindness and support for the music, the livestreams, and the new magazine! In these challenging times I think it's even more important to celebrate the successes. I hit 5K followers on Facebook this week and I think that's a milestone worth celebrating!
Who remembers my PBS video back in July? The exper Who remembers my PBS video back in July? The experience inspired the idea for a monthly songwriting challenge in my new @living.loving.growing online magazine. Each month I will select a prompt from within the issue and use it to write a 20-60 second song clip. This month I used the title itself, "Hope In The Hard Times." It's got an upbeat-gospel-kinda-feel to it. It's sure to lift your spirits! You can check out the September 2020 video for "Prompted: By Hope" when you subscribe to www.livinglovinggrowing.com (link in bio).

Monthly subscriptions are just $5/month, or you can scoop up an annual subscription for $50/year.

If you missed the PBS video, you can view it here: https://www.pbs.org/american-portrait/story/14698/erin-h-st-john-vi-at-this-point-in-my-life

(I recommend turning off the closed captioning on the PBS video - the lyrics are incorrect).

Erin, and all of the St. John community whom I have grown to cherish over the past decade. I hope you are all safe after Irma.

Great music, and that is one hell of an awesome logo. I’ll be sure to catch you next time I’m on St. John.

I’m sitting here right now listening to her live at St john and just purchased the CD. Amazing. Beautiful voice. This music is simply therapeutic. Warms the soul along with the beautiful sunset.

I’ve been a fan of Erin since first hearing her music strolling in Cruz Bay three years ago, and have made a point to catch her whenever on the Island. While “Island Music” has many flavors, from the dumb drunken stumbling of the Buffet crowd, to the strife driven lyrics of early Marley/Tosh, Erin’s music and energy speak to an Island culture of low key grace, of recognizing your place in the elements, and of connection to a pure idea. Her voice has a clarity of glass, and is distinct in a population of many. I enjoy her music tremendously and pass it along to whomever I can.
